This year, we'd like you to join us to celebrate The Year of the Horse.
Horses have contributed to civilizations around the world in ways that are nothing short of remarkable. From agriculture and transportation to war and sport, they have served us through relationships built on trust for the past 6,000 years.
As always, our aim is to educate, entertain, and celebrate — and this year, we plan to do all three in the beautiful, spacious indoor arena at The Highlands in Amenia, NY. Rain or Shine!
Casual attire is welcome. We are grateful for any and all contributions to support this event and the programs that we offer to military, veterans, and first responders at no cost to them.
The Role of the Horse
Six thousand years of trust and collaboration.
From the first domestication on the steppes of Central Asia to the farms and facilities today, horses have shaped human civilization in ways we are still coming to understand.
And at The Equus Effect, we have learned that their willingness to collaborate with anyone who truly wants to earn their trust makes them perfect partners to help restore healthy, authentic relationships among those with whom we live and work. Mutual respect is at the heart of everything we do.
