The Equus Effect Herd

Sponsoring a horse is a rewarding opportunity to make a difference by directly helping a member of our healing herd.

Our equine coaches are at the center of what we do.  They work hard mentally and physically and so many are impacted positively by them.  The Equus Effect horses are on their second or third careers now — so they rely on maintenance medications, supplements, chiropractic and other services in addition to normal upkeep expenses of feed, hay, farrier, dental and veterinary needs.

Your donations go directly toward the ongoing care of the horse — or horses — of your choosing.  These sponsorships can also be gifted or to honor special people in your lives.

The Dutch Boy is 15.2 hand 25-year-old bright, curious and flashy Arabian Pinto cross.  He was a performance show horse for many years and has been “the face of The Equus Effect” since the inception.  Dutch asks a lot of questions and offers a great deal of honest feedback in return.

Specialized Care:
Dutch has monthly Masterson Method sessions and yearly chiropractic.  He requires extra treatment in care of his front hooves.  Daily supplements and medications as his workload dictates.
