WORKSHOP

Inside the Equus Effect

We recognize the issues of our times.

There are too many demands and distractions, not enough recovery time, social friction, unsteady ground, change fatigue, and a culture that keeps us in a constant state of reaction.

* The Inside the Equus Effect workshop is a prerequisite for our Train to Facilitate Program.

Participants can choose one of two weekends (July 7 - 9 or October 2 - 4, 2026).
If we agree to proceed with the training program, participants will join one webinar to build self-awareness and self-management through an aspect of a system called the Enneagram. This is a temperament-based model that reveals both strengths and strengths overused within 9 different worldviews. It also helps uncover blind spots and triggers so that facilitator candidates can learn to recognize these and manage them through awareness and body-based practices.

“I thought this was going to be recreation, but it turned out to be really serious and more fun than I’ve had since I can remember.

I had no idea I could feel energized and relaxed at the same time, but I did. I understand what they mean by freedom and choice.‍”

We think we know who we are and how we have to be to survive, but most of these are scripts from the past.

Reviewing them is part of the journey, but the next leg is to go beyond the mind and into the body where new patterns can arise. We believe that there are no better companions than horses who are always present and coaches who have walked the walk toward more authentic ways to be and become.

TEE impacts our quality of life as well as our relationships with others — from the ground up. We offer a multi-component curriculumthat uses real in-hand horsemanship skills, body-based practices and a provocative and engaging discussion around Emotional Agility.
